Stockport Rugby Club have announced a new partnership that will see Solar Energy company Green Energy International become the club’s first team sponsor for the coming season. The agreement was announced by Mike Drew Chairman of Rugby today accompanied Green Energy International’s CEO Arthur Bell. The deal see the Green Energy International logo adorn club’s jersey, starting at the pre-season friendly against Crewe and Nantwich next weekend.

Announcing the deal, Mike Drew said: “Green Energy International have helped many local Businesses and Schools, to substantially reduce their electricity bills and carbon footprint by supplying and installing their solar PV system”. “We are very much looking forward to working with Green Energy International through this partnership to create new experiences and opportunities for the club.”

Arthur Bell added: “As both a player and Vice President of Stockport Rugby Club I am delighted to continue an association with a rugby club I have been proud to be involved with since 1980”
